This is around Waipu Cove in Northland NZ looking out to the Pacific. The island out there is Hen Island and is accompanied by the chicken islands (the smaller islands to the left).

Hello Jim ,
The warm evening light adds to the beauty of this gorgeous costal scenery . It is a pleasure to discover the island at the horizon , through the vegetation in the FG . The color of the sea is superb , too .

Hello Jim - Nice to see you posting again!

Lovely late afternoon light here. I love the way it has illuminated the overhanging branch and all the textures are beautifully exposed. The warm colour contrasts perfectly with the blue sky too. The branch acts as more than a frame, it is a major feature of your composition. A serene view, well composed and managed and a lovely sight to see.
