Photographer's Note
In new-plymouth on the west cape of the north island a known artist built an interesting monument ,a 45 meter street lamp .The first time it was turned on was at the 31st of december 1999. looking at this monumant for a few min can make u a bit dizzy because the wind can actually move the pole.

Interesting shot, Daniel. I like the angle you used here. But the credit goes to the sky...if they sky was any different the shot wouldn't have the same impact. Good work!

The sky line reminds me of a typical french Pointillism painting. Together with your composition a excellent shot!

Looks like something Martian - I'm not sure what. Very nice angle. Maybe the shot would benefit from a little more space above/left.

Singularly brilliant. Particularly as the sky adds as much to this photograph as your subject.

Very impressive shot Daniel!
You choose the perfect angle to shoot and you had a perfect sky tooooo....
But I would have liked the framing less tighter above.

I just add my two pennies to tell you how I like this picture. The amazing angle, the pure line of the street lamp, and the fantastic background.
Great, great shot

Your composition perfectly emphasize the lightness of this lamp.
It is an almost abstract composition.

Fantastic POV!
you made a very surrealistic composition with that street light in the foreground but deforming itself... the sky is terrific and I believe that enhace a lot the atmosphere of the shot.
Well done
