Photographer's Note
This is my continuation of old pictures I took 10 years ago. This picture is scanned from a hard copy. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
Iguazu is one of the greatest falls in the world for its beauty and grandeur. It is a testimony of Love and Jalousie. The Guarani legend says that Iguazu fall was created when the god of the forest, enraged by her warrior lover escaped downriver by canoe with a young girl, dropped the riverbed in front of the lovers producing a precipitous falls over which the girls fell and, at their base, turned into a rock. The warrior survived as a tree overlooking his fallen lover.
Iguazu falls are located on the border between Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay. Taller than Niagara Falls, twice as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horseshoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River. Their height isn't as inspiring as is their length - the falls seem to go on and on in the distance. When the water level of the river is high, the whole ridge is almost covered in the huge expanse of water pouring over. At other times, when the river level is lower, the amount of water is less and trees are rocks jump out from the fall wall providing a beautiful break in the water.

You have shot this from the strongest point of view, in comparison of all photos of this 3-country waterfalls I have seen so far.
Since you took it before the "digital era", I just tried to see how does it look like through a "chinese-style painting". You may not like my manipulation because your picture looks more like being taken in Huang Shan, China than in Argentina.

I like the overall feeling of this shot (waterfalls are among my favorite photo subject). Your photo shows a different aproach to Iguasu. You concentrate your attention to small detail of this magnificent place and you get excellent result.
By the way I look at workshop by ngythanh, but original one is much better. On workshop is lost this fine softness of scene you achieved here.
