Photographer's Note
That is my 4th post of the Amazon River, and as I said before, sunsets are rare, so once you see one, you take 1000 pictures of it.
Few facts about that great river:
* In some places along the river, its depth is 180 meters!!! so huge oil tankers can sail on the river.
* The amount of water that path through the river in a year is more than half of all the sweet water in the world!!!
* In the middle of the Brazilian Amazon jungle there is a big city with about 1.3 million people.
* In that city there is a floating port because the difference between the lowest level and the highest level of the river is 15 meters!!!
That's all for now,
Hope you like my picture,
Itamar
Post processing:
* Resizing.
* USM.
* Framing.

I like the view and the railing in the foreground gives a sense of scale to the picture, showing how far away the other side of the river is.
I might suggest a tweak to the processing, in that this could perhaps benefit from slightly more colour saturation, particularly in the red/yellow region.

Oi Itamar,
Lindas cores neste por-do-sol carregado de nuvens, o que o torna mais dramático. Parabéns pelo trabalho.

Hi Itamar, Great sunset at the Amazon river, nice soft colors. I would just crop the picture a little to get rid of the railing in the foreground. See also my "Confluence" of the Amazon and Rio Negro. Cheers, Michael

hi Itamar,
great shot of a great river. The dark silhouette of the trees are a dramatic horizon to the silvery color of the river. You are right about the sun- I stayed upstream in Iquitos, there the sunrise is rare and worth every pic. from your POV the river and the towering clouds look even more impressive- well done.
Thanks for the memories!
