Photographer's Note

As some of you already know, in the same evening that I had posted my last photo, I lost my husband.
It is so difficult to believe in it. We were married more than 52 years. How to live without him by my side?
Tomorrow he will not sit with us to share the eggs and good wishes. My sons will be with me, but it is not the same. It is how to lose a part of oneself.
I do not know what to do. All lost sense.

We made together many fantastic travels around the world - Chile and Argentina, West Coast of the USA, China, Namibia, France, Italy...
I am looking at our old photos and think about the happy moments we have had.

Here Easter Island fifteen years ago.

Dear Malgo, I am so sorry to read the news about your husband, please accept my condolences.
Your comprehensive archive will be a lovely reminder of the many trips that you travelled together.

We can appreciate the size of the stone sculptures, and there are some in the far distance.

Czesc Malgosiu
Tak bardzo ci wspolczuje. To jest bol nie do wyobrazenia. Tyle wpomnien, tyle wspolnych przezyc. Mialam szczescie, ze udalo mi sie poznac Wojtka, spotkac nawet na tak krotko w zeszlym roku. Nawet moje, niezbyt swiateczne swieta beda w tym roku tym smutniejsze, ze odszedl.
Pozytywne jest to, ze zdecydowalas sie zamiescic dzis ten post na TE, gdzie masz tylu przyjaciol. Wszyscy myslimy o Tobie w tych trudnych chwilach i nie jest to tylko wytarty frazes.

nice you got a marvelous friend as a husband, I guess most of the women can't say the same, at least for a so long time. I presume the space occupied by him in your life was so important and it is painfull to face life without his companion. anyway we have a life to live and he would like to see you happy, ever. marvelous moments you and he had in this special spot of planet, so far from your homes,

A picture from the other far side of our globe.A fallen one of the famous statues on this island, nobody would take and erect it?
Nice landscape with the coast-line on far side, I think i see other statues down there.
