Photographer's Note
In many Central and South American countries, lotto and casinos seem like an easy way to make a quick buck. On main streets and intersections, young women, old men, children hold handfulls of these tickets. They approach everyone in order to try and sell them. Some choose to pick a spot and let the customers come to them. What struck me as the fact that the people often ignore these people as if they are beggers or worse. Most would not even bat them an eye if they were approached by one. I can understand if to them it is a common sight, but to completely ignore a person, that's something else entirely.
In this photo taken in Cartagena, the Colombian tourists do exactly this.

good color and DOF. the blurred woman walking by illustrates your point of how these people are ignored on the street.

this is a fantastic shot...the expression of the man, the rich color of the wall, the movement at the edge, the overall clarity...this is exceptional.
