Photographer's Note

Hi Diego,
This is great, especially the way you have composed the shot with the sad girl on the edge of the frame and using the frame of the swings, she is looking so forlorn whilst the other child swings on the background. Perfect use of depth of field too to focus on her expression. Really nice in black and white for this moment.

Hello,
This is a wonderful commentary on life for this little girl. The United Negro Fund of the US has a great slogan 'A Mind is a terrible thing to waste.' From what I understand of what you wrote, it seems that is exactly what may happen to her. Your picture captures both her potential and her situation. Well done!
Sincerely,
Kate

Another muliple portrait. This time the feeling is a bit different. The girl in the foreground is very thoughtful and concentrated and looks as if she's already not an innocent little girl anymore. As you say in your note, it would be nice to enter her head to know what she's thinking about...is she already aware that her future is going to be hard?
Anyway, I love the juxtaposition of this thoughtful girl with the other one having fun on the swing. Very well seen!
see you,
Marc

Hola Diego,
What a pensive, deep expression this little girl has. You captured her in such a wonderful posture, along with the other girl in the swing. There is poetry in your image.

Cristian
