Photographer's Note
In the colorful market in Otavalo, I bought some souvenirs from this young mother. I ask if I can take some picture of her and her beautiful baby. Since I bought about $30 of stuff from her, she agreed, but she was extremely shy. She couldnt look at the camera which is fine by me. But the baby is not Shy at all, He smiled and laughed every time I clicked the camera. He liked the sound of the shutter. The Inca is a very mysterious yet fascinating culture and most beautiful people, in my opinion.

very nice double portrait, the direct look of the baby makes it even more engaging. I like a lot how the predominantly white clothes make the yellow stand out, I find the cheerful feeling it creates fits well with what I've heard about the market in Otavalo (unfortunately, we did not have enough time for that, there's so much to see in Ecuador :))
good work, my compliments.

Sabidy Way, lovely close portrait of Inca family in a very enjoyable vertical composition, also because of the colors. It's like a 'tower' from his adorable little hand, then climbing along the yellow lines, jumping on his head and discover her beautiful shy attitude hidden under the colorful scarf. It's a pitty the small size of the ws...

Way,
This is good quality and very detail for a scan image. It's a great portrait of both mother and baby. The direct eye contact of the baby and his mysterious smile is very magnetizing, you cant help but drawn to him. And the shy but very proud mother with beautiful traditional clothing is perfect captured. $3 0 Well spent for what you got is great memory of them and these photos for souvenirs.

Hello Way,
Wonderful portrait of mummy with her child. Fantastic quality for scan. I like very much the shy look of the woman and the smile of the kid. She is typical otovaleno woman - with the embroidered bluse and "the hat". I was also on Otavalo market and I found it fabulous. Ecuador is so beautiful country! Thanks for sharing

Hi Way
The shyness of the mother comes through in your photo. The baby certainly steals the show - so cute. Thanks for showing such raw emotions and realistic portrayl of the people you met on your travels.

That 's maternal bonds between mom and cute child, a lovely vivid in detail and bright colours, tender and very touching capture of an image which reminds us some mothers have a harder time than others. I adore the wonderful eyes from both of them and she looks happy with her child, that's the most important. Clarity is subtle minus any hard shadows and great use of shallow dof making them stunningly standout. This image has touched my heart and you have a gift to capture beauty, a treasured shot for all to see. A brilliant humanity subject, Congrats
Kind regards
