Photographer's Note

Rush hour at the Pisac Sunday market. Every sunday, folks from around the region gather in the main market to sell their goods, wares, and tourist trinkets. You can find everything from fresh fruit to memory cards. If you get there before 10 and beat the tourist buses, you have some really good photo opportunities without Gringos getting in the way.

A good shot that really takes you into the street, thanks to the upstreet point of view and also to the direction in which that little girl looks.

My only regret is that it's a pity her head overlaps the darker part of the background carriage (sorry, it looks copied from the comment you've wrote on my daily shot, but you were right... ;-)...).

Nice shot. The depth is just amazing here and your composition seems to be ok as well. Too bad the girl wasn't looking towards the camera...but what can you do? The thing that bothers me, though, is how her head blends into the man right behind her...a bit more seperation between the two would be needed to make this shot work.

I know it's difficult to focus on one person in the middle of a crowded street.It is a pity that the head of the child (which is the main photo target)is totaly invisible.Not your best photo (I hope you don't mind) but I do like the atmosphere in the picture.Nice composite.

good POV, the eyes lead right into and from near to far. good DOF, and the expression (turned back on you) in the girl realtes what i feel like.

Very well framed with a nice balance symmetry, and good juxtaposition between the bright buildings and dark streets. Unfortunately, as has been noted several times, the girl looking away and partly obscured by the dark clothing of the man behind her, pretty much makes the photo a loss.

This is looking down from San Blas, correct?
