Product Placement, a photo from Lima, South

Photographer's Note

You have to hand it to Coca Cola for their strategic product placement. In the middle of no where on my way to Lima, I spotted this sign. The highway connecting Tumbes and Lima has nothing but desert, sand, and barren hills like this. It is very rare you would come across a vendor let alone one that sells Coke...so once you spotted this sign, you were pretty much helpless to quinch your thirst for another thirty minutes.

Excellent composition. I like the almost monotone nature of the landscape contrasted against the pavement markings and sign. The dirty windshield is unfortunate but you could fix these spots in photoshop.

Very good, crisp image, very commercial like. Like the composition (ok I am getting thirsty), winding road and the sign excellent.
I only with the car we see in the background was more towards the foreground.

Great shot. The design of the road is amazing, like a concrete snake crossing the desert. The curves on the ad logo are very similar to those of the road. Excellent sharpness and details.

Very cool. The composition is really good. You have captured the essence of the entire scene. The road and the sign board are very well balanced in the composition. Good shot.

I like much panoramic framing.
the road which goes towards the infinite one and this billboard which stops the glance.
something wrong on my screen, I see all the colors in green and i saw some spot ?

Well composed with it road bending a little to the left and the red sign at the top right of the shot.
Perfect sharpness. Are there some flys on the windscreen, I can see .-)

Strange green landscape and the contrasting sign made this picture stand out for me. Nice capture.

It looks so out of place, if I didn't know any better- I'd almost think it was digitally added to the photo.
Makes for an interesting shot indeed.

Is interesting. I've always saw those Coca-Cola (and other drinks) signs along the roads and never realised that there was no place near to buy one. A very good picture of a place I've always considered uninteresting --photographicaly speaking-- because the deserts in Peru look all the same.
