Photographer's Note
This photo was taken right after a rain storm came through town. Feburary is the rainy season in Peru and it lives up to its title. It rained just everyday, forcing tourists and locals to huddle under canopies and overhangs. To those who have not been to Cusco, the roads are small and often very steep. Luckily for this man, the rain did not continue after he started walking.

This picture attracts me very much. When I see a person walking alone along a street I have always the sensation of a great solitude and melancholy. The hands in pockets give me yhe idea of resignation to the destiny. The B&W enhances all these sensation. I'd crop the upper part. The horizon is a bit tilted. Very good work

Hi Mark,
Very nice picture ! The guy seem really resigned to continue there ... I really like the effect of the light on the ground. The B&W is perfect here for that.
Your guy seem sad, but the compo with some light at the top gives the feeling that he might still have hope ! Thanks for this one,
Regards,
Youssef.

B&W was a great choice. It looks like a very depressed scene. Gives me a feeling that the man is not happy to be walking home.

Great photo Mark. The combination of the wet street and the man give a special atmosphere.
Good choice of B&W. Maiko
