Where a river is born, a photo from Merida, West

Photographer's Note

The Mifafi valley in Mérida State is a beautiful and pristine place where one can see the action of ancient tropical glacials in its U shaped valleys, lateral morains and huge boulders. the place is a desert paramo where temperature varies from 25°C to -3°C between day and night making this wonderful place extreme for creatures that choose to make it its home. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Photo un peu surréaliste, digne d'un film d'héroïce fantaisie. Les couleurs sont superbes, l'effet du filtre polarisant se fait sentir.

Great photo Leo, a very dramatic landscape indeed. The sky is a little grainy but this is probably due to the scan. The subject is amazing with great colours and unusual plant life.
I like it a lot!

Very interesting shapes in this Valley..and good use of including plants in the foreground for lead in to the photo...nice work...the sky however looks a little grainy..perhaps from processing into digital

Excellent capture of a beautiful landscape. Good composition and use of filter. As opposite to the original slide, the quality of the scan is not ideal and I feel for you because I'm often unpleased with the quality of my scans.

Hola Leo!

He estado paseando por tu galería y la verdad es que me ha gustado. Tu trabajo nos muestra una Venezuela llena de lugares y fauna asombrosa.
Me he decidido a empezar con esta foto... los colores y el punto de vista estan perfectos, las texturas que nos da la imagen son muy buenas. Tal vez la compresión de la imagen la da dejado con algo de ruido. Te Propongo un WS esperando que te guste.
