Il Borgo di Canale
Caratteristico paese medioevale, del quale si ha notizia dal 1211, è un autentico pezzo di medioevo sopravvissuto quasi intatto fino ai giorni nostri, costruito a misura d’uomo e ricco di storia per le sue viuzze e portici che narrano vicende d’altri tempi.
All’interno del borgo è visitabile il Museo degli Attrezzi agricoli, che racchiude antichi attrezzi agricoli del luogo che venivano utilizzati per la viticoltura, l’allevamento, la coltivazione dei campi e la vita domestica. Un altro centro di grande interesse culturale è la Casa degli Artisti, che venne dedicata al pittore Giacomo Vittone, che ne fu anche il propugnatore. Acquistata e ristrutturata nel 1965 è oggi gestita dai Comuni di Riva del Garda, Arco e Tenno.

The Village of Canal
Quaint medieval town, which has been reported since 1211, is an authentic piece of the Middle Ages survived almost intact until the present day, built on a human scale and rich in history for its narrow streets and arcades, which narrate the events of the past.
Inside the village you can visit the Museum of Agricultural Tools, which contains old farm implements in the place that were used for viticulture, livestock, cultivation of the fields and home life. Another center of great cultural interest is the House of Artists, which was dedicated to the painter Giacomo Vittone, who was also the advocate. Purchased and renovated in 1965 is today run by the municipalities of Riva del Garda, Arco, Tenno.

What a splendid view ! It seems to be a village in a fairytale . The light is very well managed . And the wooden door is so beautiful .

I really like these charming and authentic village, and you present this one in a very good way.
The way you've framed is very well thought with the two arches to give depth, and the weak light is perfectly handled.
The fine quality of your shot lets appreciate the textures, the paving stone and the painting in front of us.
Excellent work. I would have liked to realize this one ;o)

Caro Andrea, questa foto è bellissima e misteriosa. Tu hai catturato i dettagli di questa architettura anticha superbamente. Mi piace l'inquadratura verticale che dà risalto alle stradine e portici. Quindi tipicamente italiano! Bravo! Lisa.

Affascinante scatto ben equilibrato nelle luci ed i colori. Mi cattura davvero anche il posto. Fra un paio di settimane che sarò in Trentino in vacanza non mi farò mancare. Grazie per la descrizione.

Thank you for your comment on my Riomaggiore pic. I browsed through most of your gallery and was amazed by the quality of your photos. I stopped to particular one which I found really interesting and beautifully done. Love the light on the wall and closed door, the small avenue leading to the light and, this incredible painting of a saint on the wall. I would have loved to be there. I am continuing my trip through your gallery.
