Photographer's Note
The Temple of Kom Ombo has impressive ruins. It was built on a double plan with symmetrical twin sanctuaries and dedicated to two gods: Haroeris to the north and Sobek to the south.
The name Kom Ombo (the ancient Greek settlement of Ombos) is derived from the Ancient Egyptian word nubt, which means "city of gold".
I shot this photo in sepia, because remind me a color of Egypt.

Hi Zbigniew,
A fantastic juxtaposition of the old and the new, with a great choice of sepia tones. I have always noticed that pictures of ancient egypt never contain the new: the people. While others present architecture as a collection of dead ruins, you have shown it as something dynamic here.
