Photographer's Note

Waves crashing over a visible portion of the coral reef that borders the end of Honeymoon Beach on the island of St John. Further in the water is a nice snorkeling spot that is often used by daytripping boats, but can also be reached easily from shore.

what a great reef shot; thats a very creative idea to make the reef the foreground. I also love the way the curve of the reef curves into the curve of the thunderhaed. Color, sharpness and exposure are all right on. Well done!1

Hello Colin,

A wonderful photograph: great blue tones. I don't know why I feel a horizontal composition may have been better - perhaps a stitch of two? - But then the polarizer would unevenly act of the sky, so I suppose vertical is fine...
