This has been my second picture Castle, no picture of the castle, but a picture of the entrance where formerly the guard lived beside the gate.

I've lucky, with the geese in group look for the man with food, everyday come a habitant out of the environ with food for the geese and ducks.

I hope you can enjoy it.

History of the castle;
The castle was around 1328 called "Cate Line", the first known owner, Catelyne Coudeceucken. The castle is fully equipped with a basement and moat. In 2004 the castle was sold publicly by the city of Bruges. It was built by the new owners completely renovated and renamed Chateau de Beaussart.

Bonjour John,
je suis un peu mitigé sur cette photo. Elle manque un peu de définition, je me demande si à la compression des images pour le post, tu ne perds pas une trop grande partie de la netteté. Les oies semblent même un peu floues.
La photo est toutefois sympathique et l'endroit, charmeur.

Hello Dear John,

Just a few minutes ago I saw our friend Philippe's proud swan. Now here we see the gaggle of geese, social animals that they are, crossing the driveway. The one bring up the rear probably is a watch out. The architecture in the ancient castle is very attractive, and your composition builds in the juxtaposition of the eye catching swans and the castle in the background.

The trees and the flowers are framing well the castle. The geese and the road are taking my eyes toward the castle which is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the architecture of the castle. The late afternoon light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

A very agreeable composition with a pleasing touch of humour as these gees seek out their daily meal. The lovely castle makes a splendid backdrop to the foreground scene. It does seem to lack some contrast/sharpness, something very unusual in your images and which suggests a problem with the posting rather than the photographer.

A very well composed picture with an interesting and good motive. However, the colours seem to be have bit too much saturation, especially the red. But otherwise a very pleasant view!

Olá John, for me the geese are even more exciting than the castle itself, at least in this picture ;-) Funny how they always move fast in group, I suppose they are a colective animal with less space for individuality, unlike humans...Very well captured, nice architecture as a BG, excellent sharp image as usual.

What scene so nice and funny here, with these group of geese that they cross ahead of the entrance of the castle.
The contrast between his white plumage and the old stones of this architecture creates a very attractive image.
