Two Valleys, a photo from Alberta, Prairies

Photographer's Note

Two of the most beautiful valleys in the Canadian Rockies, right next to each other: Consolation Valley on the left and the famous Valley of the Ten Peaks on the right. This is the view shortly before you arrive at the Moraine Lake parking lot.

Taken about an hour after sunrise my final morning in the Canadian Rockies this summer. You can't beat cloudless skies in the early morning.

Hi Clark..Wow. Fantastic light of two Valleys! ! An excellent and very nice landscape shot from with the Canadian Rockies, a high chosen POV like the back light effect on the sun rise time. I see perfect the tones & texture FG good exposure controlled with nice light ! Warm regards,

Why am I not surprised this was in Banff? It's a magnificent place out of this world. Just like Norway x2 to be honest! Simply adorable, both the place and the picture! Good combination...

Hello Clark ,
As a mountains lover , i like a lot this picture . THese peaks are wonderful . The contrast between the lightened FG and the dark part is really effective .

Hi Clark,
Pure beauty ! The landscape is very impressive and you caught a great light here. The zones in the shadow improve the feeling of relief. The different plans from the foreground to the background add some depth to the composition. Sharpness could have been better I think, but great shot anyway.

Une photo de toute beauté et d'excellente qualité en plusieurs plans. Parfaite gestion de l'éclairage entre ombre et lumière. Les rochers sont magnifiques recouvert d'un peu de neige et bien mis en valeur devant ce merveilleux ciel bleu pur. J'aime bien la touche de couleurs en avant-plan. Beau travail.
