Photographer's Note
This is #6 in my series on the children of San Cirpriano. These two sister are pictured here buying ice cream. None of the children in the village are camera shy, but I wanted to take a photo that wasn't directly head on. When I turned to buy some ice cream for myself, I spotted the colorful beads in their hair. They really caught my eye an I hope it catches yours as well.

did the mother try to slap you after you took the photo ? she doesn't look very pleased !
