Photographer's Note

The village of Bonnieux is perched on a narrow and steep ridge, rising from the plain, the twelfth-century church is located at the top.

Access to the "vieille église" is via 86 steps up from the village, winding through the narrow streets and arches below the houses, top the view is spectacular in the shade of tall pines and grand old cedars.

In town you will find small plazas with shops and cafes, at different levels. There are a number of small shops with pottery, craft items, and items with beautiful hand-woven wool.

El pueblo de Bonnieux se alza sobre una estrecha y empinada cresta, elevándose de la llanura, su iglesia del siglo XII se encuentra en la cima.

El acceso a esta "vieille église" es a través de 86 escalones que suben desde el pueblo, serpenteando a través de las estrechas calles, y de los arcos por debajo de las casas, desde arriba la vista es espectacular a la sombra de altos pinos y magníficos cedros centenarios.

En el pueblo encontraras pequeñas plazas con tiendas y cafés, en los diferentes niveles. Hay una serie de pequeñas tiendas con cerámica, artículos artesanales, y una con hermosos artículos tejidos a mano de lana.
