Photographer's Note
Bridge St. Roch and Cathedral.
Poznan is a city on the Warta river in west-central Poland, with a population of 556,022 in June 2009. It is among the oldest cities in Poland, and was one of the most important centres in the early Polish state, whose first rulers were buried at Poznañ's cathedral. It is sometimes claimed to be the first capital of the kingdom of Poland.
Poznan is now Poland's fifth largest city. It is the historical capital of the Wielkopolska ("Greater Poland") region, and is currently the administrative capital of the province called Greater Poland Voivodeship.
Poznañ is an important centre of trade, industry, and education, and hosts regular international trade fairs. It was the host city for the United Nations Climate Change Conference in December 2008, a key stage in the creation of a successor to the Kyoto Protocol. Poznañ was a candidate city for European Capital of Culture in 2016.

Witaj Krzysztof,
The floodlighting brings an eerie feel to the scene. I like the composition and point of view with the bridge sweeping in from the top right and directing our attention toward the cathedral. Good light management and fine colours and clarity.

Bonjour Krzysztof,
Je ne connais pas ton truc, mais le résultat donne des couleurs étonnantes surtout au niveau des bleus et des oranges. L'église est très bien illuminée et j'aime les reflets.

Hi Krzysztof
I like that you're showing us some different views from Poznan, I can honestly say I've never seen this one before.
the span of the bridge adds a lot of depth, and of course the church in the bg is what we're all looking at as well.
cool electric colors :)
cheers

Hi Kryzsztof
This is one of the finest photos I have seen for a long time, composition, subject, light end clarity are all superb I don't know how you managed to balance the light to create this effect, but it is simply wonderful. I love the vivid blue, the lead of the bridge and the cathedral which looks almost like a huge castle. Brilliant photo.
Best wishes
Noel
P.s. the Polska Eire festival has just ended in Dublin, a three day festival to celebrate the Polish population in Ireland. Over 120,000 Polish people live here now, and Polish is now the second most spoken language. The went got great coverage on tv, but I could not get time off work to photograph it.

Czesc Krzysztof,
Swietny kontrast kolorow: niebieskiego i brazowego.
Musze sobie zapamietac to miejsce na przyszlosc :)
