The small prosperous country of Brunei on the large island of Borneo derives most of its wealth from oil deposits offshore. Shown here is a suburban housing estate near Bandar Seri Begawan airport taken late afternoon.

Hi Chris! Now, I've seen Brunei! With the elevation you had, the land and its topography can still be seen well! The water and its land formations look interesting as well. A great aerial shot. rgds.

Interesting aerial photo, Chris. A nice pattern is provided by the alignment of houses in this residential area, and the clouds hovering above are well rendered, too. Good half/half division between land and sea.

One can see that this suburb was complete planed on the drawing-board and not natural grown.Good compo with the sea and the small islands in the background.

An excellent bird's eye view picture. It is interesting that the houses are grouped together by different colors. The cloud and the water made the picture very attractive.

Wow Chris, C'est une bonne photo!!!

What a cool shot. I like everything about it, especially the fact that houses seems to be all the same color in each side. This reminds me of a small community that I stayed in for a couple years, it was circular this way and right by a big lake.

This turned out quite well for a through-the-aircraft-window shot, Chris. I guess you must have had the light behind you because the colour saturation is quite strong. During the day many of these aerial shots would look quite washed out. Good there were no clouds in the foreground too. Cheers . . . David

Small island but full of houses, amazing place, but more then i like that how you take the picture, completely focus the island.
