Photographer's Note
Having moved to Australia, I went in search of a little Australian history and found myself in Glenrowan, here in the state of Victoria, looking at a giant, 5x scale statue of Ned Kelly.
Kelly was a "bushranger", an outlaw... but also a local populist hero among the 1870's farmers and fellow squatters..
The son of an Irish convict sent to live in Australia. Believing themselves to be persecuted by the authorities, Kelly and his gang took to a crime spree. He also wrote a manifesto denouncing the police, the Victorian government and the British Empire. His gang fashioned themselves armor to protect themselves, including the famous helmet made from a metal bucket.
Ned Kelly was hanged in 1880

Olá, Clifton!
História muito interessante sobre essa figura histórica, o capacete de balde é legal haha. O ângulo foi muito bem escolhido, deixa a estátua ainda mais imponente. Enquadramento muito bom, assim como a luz e a nitidez.
Bom trabalho!

Wow, very nice photo of a historic character.
I really like how well you have filled the frame and managed to get the earthen tones of the statue to stand in stark contrast to the blue background sky.
Very eyecatching photo, thanks for sharing.
