Today, we are continuing our tour of the Ark Encounter. On the walkway to the Ark, there were a few cages of small animals. I forget what the excuse was, but I am sure they were designed to keep children entertained on the long trek from the shuttle bus unloading area to the Ark. The colorful parrots in one of the cages got my attention.

In the Noah original Ark, animals were not kept in cages, Murat.
Anyway, the parrot in this picture has marvelous colors. But, I think the main picture was taken from a too close range, though it is clear and distinct.

Hello Murat,
Its colours are beautiful, and it's not even an ex parrot, nor is it pushing up the daisies, so it probably didn't arrive with the original ark. Both photos are nice and sharp, but the bars of the cage indicate they don't have a very good life.

I've 15 year had an Agapornus here in my house, she was free in house and very smart.
Almost the same parot
Wonderful composition and nice presentation too.

A great close-up photo of this colourful parrot, whose green, yellow and orange colours go very well together. Superb sharpness also, even the tiniest details of the feathers are clearly seen.

Hi Murat,
It is a very interesting idea, I would love to visit the place someday. I have discussed your photo with my little daughter and she asked how Noah dealt with animals from other continents like kangaroos. I was not able to answer that yet. May be that was the time when the continents were still altogether.

curiously I git a similar photo of my parrot few minutes ago while trying the take a photo of a solar eclipse in the rainy backyard.of course I was frustrated with the images of the eclipse..
the animal is very colorful, but I don't know its name. maybe some day we won't have animals inside cages.
