Photographer's Note
Hidden within the Hopi Reservation is a land of reddish-brown and white hoodoos. Some stand as sentinals, others huffle together for support along the eastern edge of the canyon.
A visit to Blue Canyon requires a Hopi guide for access and, if you're planning to use the photographs commercially, a permit to film/photograph. I booked my tour with Evelyn Fredricks and the guides for my visit were her two sisters (Marilyn and Sharon). They were knowledgeable and informative, telling me much about their culture and the area.
