This picture cropped to remove my dumb shadow :(, but I still like how it turned out. Hope you do too. I actually used the clarify option on this photo.

the focus appears to be on the petals and stamens rather than on the bees. The bees are a little out of focus and appear 'antly' in the presence of this, seemingly, enormous flower. I am not sure, however, perhaps one could fiddle around with the focus field (I am not too familiar with the terms, but I think your camera can see in many different ways) to bring into focus all elements... The composition of the flower is fine and more interesting than if the whole flower was captured. Pity about the bees being out of focus. Lighting and colours are great.
