Arjen -
Excellent image! The detail on the Taj is remarkable. I like the use of the silhouette in the doorway to add foreground interest. Exposure is right on with some detail in the shadows. My only negative comment is that it looks like the image is slightly rotated (note left door).

Very nice picture, the composition is great. I like the silhouette of the woman and how the doorway frames the Taj. Nice contrast between the dark foreground and the Taj. Well done and welcome to TE!

Hi Arjen,
you are the lucky one - the Taj without people?
How have you managed that?
Also a pretty POV from the side, I like the symetrie so much. Also wonderful colours, it's not easy to do this shot, dark in the front, behind this bright building, I had my problems.
Thanks for sharing, I lovi it

Mooi shot Arjen, met een highlight/shadow kan je haar heel behoorlijk uit de shaduw halen, spijtig je kan geen tipgevende WS bij je doen.

A note is wellcome, what time did you take it? Taj Mahal is so yellow.
I think it will be better if you cut a little bit the dark regions but not the floor, it's an intereseting pattern(IMO).
PD: Have you seen the Lonely Planet guidebook of India (2003 edition)? Your composition is very near to the cover.

loks a very simple and sweet pic of the taj.. i really like this one.. the figure adds that oomph to it.. you could have had different placements of the figure but i suppose the position of the figure was not controlled by you
Very nice work! thanks for sharing

Absolutely wonderful photograph, the light is perfect and all the more effective with the silhouette - when I went there were hundreds of people there so it was impossible to get a good shot.
