Photographer's Note
An excerpt from the Frelighsburg website:
"Who would have thought that this little piece of land at the foot of Mont Pinacle, sporadically occupied by American Indians during the first half of the l8th century and called “Slab City” for many years, would have become the seductive Frelighsburg we know today"

It was, as you can see, a cloudy day, a storm was building up, a perfect weather condition to pay a visit to this cemetery and read the names and dates on the graves and thus learn about the first people who lived and died there.
This will part of my new theme "village churches" which could very well included small minarets, temples, synagogue, etc.

It's sharp and well captured despite the bad weather. Very good colors for such a day, with a lot of mood. Well done, Nina.

I doubt that this same view taken in bright sunshine would show the colours of the church and of the gravestones as well as this does. The picture is sharp and the V formed by the gravestones is a strength of the composition.

Beautiful composition Nina. The colours of the church are amazing. Exellent textures of the roof and the wall of the church. Very clear pic with a lot of interesting elements. You have done a good arrangement of the elements. Good shot.

Superbe photo, Nina.

Crisp sharp and clear. Very nice image. I like the positioning of the chuch, the red against the green, and the jumble of tombstones.
Very nice composition. Good technique. Bravo.

Just idyllic. The composition is beautiful: simple and appropriate for your subject. I like the way the clouds cap your picture. The graves created a sence of tranquility for this beautiful shot. Thanks for sharing this to us.

Fantastic composition! It's like a postcard. Besides the colors, details and composition one of the things I like the most is the contrast of the serenity around the church against the stormy sky.
About your frame I think it would be nice to put a thin line (black or grey) between the photo and the white frame itself because it merges into the sky.

Bravo.
