Speaker's Corner - I've not seen anything like it anywhere. While it has historic roots that allowed time for free speach and sharing of news under verbally restricted rule, today it has people who are courageous enough to get up on a soap box and share their views. Most of the positions are more extreme than the general public, so go in with an open mind and get a perspective on life from a different angle.

In this unusual picture, a speaker preaches to another speaker. Take a look at the faces in the background that bring out the character of the moment.

While sometimes I disagree at what is being said, I give my full respect to every speaker who's had the guts to make their presentation here each Sunday.

Nice, Dan,

I like the cropping and the outstretched arm -- classic "preacher" pose. I see it's from your new *istD -- did you post-process at all? I wonder what it'd look like with a bit more contrast and a bit more saturation... Conversely, I wonder what it'd look like in B+W.

Dan, Interesting photograph! I have heard some street preachers in Seattle, WA. many years ago. I agree with the respect issue and it taking "guts" to stand in public doing this. Anyway, nice capture here. God's best, Tim

This shot has so much going for it. It's well framed (and well timed). Lots of interesting faces to explore.

The color just doesn't look right to me. Skin tones look blue, rather dead. I posted a workshop in which I tweaked the color balance a bit. Not sure I got it right, but it might give you something to think about.
