Photographer's Note
I took this a while back and I thought a few of you havent seen this picture before so I thought of all of you and so I am posting it.
This will also be the last picture I will sending on trekearth for 5 days for I will be going to Okinawa for 5 days and taking an ample amount of photos for all to see. So dont worry I will be back.
I took this picture at Korankei, it was cold place and if I waited any longer, the water would have iced up.
The two at the top right look like they are kissing, so thats why I took this picture and also because of the colour and the lay out of the gamazumi too, I also found after taking the picture that in one of the water droplets were reflections of the twigs.
I hope you like it.

This is great Daniel, the shapes and colours of drops are strong elements in combination of colours. My congratulations.

I can't say why, really, but this shot is great. Maybe the simplicity here is what makes the image work. Maybe the droplets of water. Maybe the subtle color and the wonderful DOF. Anyway, good work on this one. Well done.

I do like the composition, but i´mm missing a little the brightness which would bring out the structure of the berries more clear.

I don't mind the dark colors, in fact, I think it gives atmosphere to the photo. Good composition and nice details. Well seen and captured.

Great effect of the water droplets on the twigs. A simple shot with great subtle colors and a fine DOF, wonderfully relaxing to look at. Well captured, Dan. Have a good trip to Okinawa!

Very nice. It's very sharp. Nice DOF. And I like the water droplets forming. Especially the two in the upper right. I really like the color, too. And the sharpness. And the texture. Tiny little droplets can be seen on the fruits. It's very nice. Not something I usually go for but this caught me. The second one of this type of plant shot today that has done that. Great job.

Very powerful colors. The lighting from behind is great, not too bright to overwhelm the forefront. Very nice macro with good details. Great job!

A very nice picture! The red/blue cast combination is nice, but what I really like is the very special "transparency". The bright drops on this blur blue background is really great to me. Very nice compo and excellent DOF. Well done Daniel, and well observed too. pts tomorrow

One of the best things about TrekEarth is learning about the place where the photographer is "embedded". It is like having a NG photographer worldwide and all of them is teaching, showing and telling everyone else. Like your gamazumi, all of us from the same tree but different branches. This is what I see from your photo.

Thanks for posting this daniel, I haven't seen it before and it is really a charming photo with great colours. The shallow DOF works well here.
