Perfect Storm, a photo from Algarve, South

Hello,

This picture was taken at the Monte Clerigo beach sunset. We could sense the nightfall. The heavy clouds on the horizon line inspired this long exposure.

Olá Mário!
Boa captura deste oceano enigmático! Também sou um frequentador assíduo, tendo feito muita caça submarina, scuba e hoje, mais, pescarias. Tenho algumas fotos relacionadas aos temas e o mar sempre me agrada, mesmo em foto. 30 segundos de exposição lhe deram aqui um efeito acetinado sobre o mar, necessário pela viabilização da captação da praia e de seus detalhes. Imagino que tenha feito a foto depois de encher uma caixa de peixe...

This is a lovely moody capture with a great sense of an approaching storm. A little bit of dodging (colour dodge - white @ 4%)on the cliffs might make a great shot even better...well done

Great capture, colors and composition are outstanding. Good choice using a tripod with low light conditions.

Was the storm perfect ? I don't know, but this shot is very close to that. Good compo, beautiful subdued colors. Long exposure turns water to look surrealistic.
The only small remarks goes to those two light spots on horizon. I think they are to strong and need to be cloned out.
Beside that perfect.

Hi Maro,
The soft effect of the water, created by your slow shutter speed, is excellent. I like the majority of blue and white in the image as it creates a very smooth transition from sky to the sea. Nicely done.

very nice shot, well composed, long exposure has given a nice effect to the water, i also think the lights need to be cloned out, they do distract!
