Photographer's Note
A few years ago it was unusual to see Lorikeets in Melbourne, but the dry conditions have resulted in some of them coming here, where there is more water. Now they are seen, and heard, as they screach and whisle to each other flashing past, a blur of red and green.
These are the same two birds as my post yesterday, although I used a flash with this one (5600HSD), which really brought out the colours.

Hi Steve
Perfect Image, like a good "promotion" to some photo camera or to a new printer.
Lovely colors, great composition.

Hi Stephen,
Fantastic capture, I really like the use of depth of field to add to the overall composition. The colours and sharpness are also terrific. Thanks for sharing,
Jules

Hi Steve,
Great colurs and Great details. I was just wondering if the f-stop could have been a bit higher both of them could have come within the focus and within the DOF.
Great work.
Cheers,
Satyakki
