Photographer's Note
A picture from my archive...
Shielded from the heat, there were dark rooms in this building. Simple doors and no glass were in the windows. Bedrooms were created by hanging a hammock and I liked it - I wish I could have spent more time and experienced life as a local for awhile.
There was something simple and functional in a lot of what I saw of Mexico (it was a very small part I must admit though). Most of that, I found appealing though the significance of that hadn't sunk in until I discovered both wilderness camping and urban backpacking.

I like your idea, simplicity has its own beauty that at time is hard to see.

Nice shot, very simple as the title says ... Maybe I would cut it a bit to go to the essential but it is a personal opinion ! Anuyway good shot !

This just caught my eye. Another one for my tricolor theme group. Those three colours will always attract photographers the way other things attract flies. Nice quiet shot. Can't decide whether it was wise or not to leave a bit of sky in.

Love the composition and the colors. Give it try in B&W? If I were framing it, I'd look into editting out the powerlines.

Very interesting view and note on the daily life of this area. The simple composition with the "funny" motorcicle, the odd colors and great textures make a nice photo.
The scanning could be a bit better because it lacks a bit sharpness. Made a ws with a different crop.
