My website is www.daviddeveson.com and anyone who cares to visit will find a wide selection of photographs with special emphasis on The Lamu Photographs and also the book I have written about the Lamu Archipelago.
This book is a collection of photographs, anecdotes, traditions, folklore and recipes and is a small effort on my part to bring attention to this magical World Heritage Site that is in danger of losing its timeless character because a large influx of tourism and even more dangerous, oil exploration off the coast.
Profits from the book when it is published (I'm still loking for a publisher) will be donated to the small and badly equipped schools that exist on the island.
