I love that TE can show me glimpses into parts of the world I have never seen, but can dream of visiting, and I love that TE can help me see new things about the parts of the world I thought I knew well.

As for a bio, I grew up in New Mexico, and currently live in Seattle. Lately we have been visiting Italy a lot (Sardinia, Abruzzo, Le Marche, Milan, etc.), and quite like it! Can't wait to return.

Equipment. I've shot film since the mid 1970's when I got my Olympus OM-1, then recently introduced. I like my OM-1, it has traveled all over the world with me, and I still use it a lot. I also have an Olympus Stylus 770 SW (shockproof, waterproof) which is a wonderful digital instamatic. We recently got a Canon EOS XSi ("Rebel")...still getting used to it and the digital darkroom. Seems fine.

I enjoy people a lot, and end up making friends when I travel, and these friends end up in my photos. To avoid having these photos accidentally removed from TE, I moved most of my photos with human interest in them to my DeviantArt page.
