Intro: I have really enjoyed looking at the shots on TrekEarth, so have decided to join so I can join in the critiques and hopefully post a few of my own photos too. Newcomer to digital photography, I am still v.happy with 35mm! As I don't have a scanner, but now have a Coolpix, this will be the source of any photos I post. I find digital fun but also frustrating - I'm at the steep end of the learning curve for post-processing, and 35mm still has more detail and contrast range! I love hillwalking and the outdoors; TrekEarth will encourage me to take the Coolpix as well as the usual kit (I have a longsuffering wife, used to delays for photo stops).
