In the springtime Italian festivals strat in the countryside villages. I tried to describe festival atmosphera with a serie of tele len portraits of an old lady, enjoying food and wine there.

Blumau is Hundertwasser’s biggest project in the shape of the model for an ideal city resting on the principle of harmony between man and nature. It is a hotel complex across a 35 hectare site. The living areas are in the folds of the “rolling” grassy hills, which serve both as filtering humus roofs and as walks. The architectural morphology is inspired by the “model of architecture” created by Hundertwasser, parallel to his painting , and in which he gives fee rein to his imaginative fantasy.

The Tagliamento River is a river in north-east Italy, flowing from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea at a point between Trieste and Venice. The source is in the Mauria Pass. In the upper section, it flows through Carnia region, in the the province of Udine. In the middle and lower sections, it first sets the boundary between the provinces of Udine and Pordenone and later between the former and the Province of Venice. Finally, it flow into the Gulf of Venice near Lignano Sabbiadoro

Poffabbro is one of the 100 most lovely villages in Italy.
You can visit it in in North Eastern Alps.

Poffabbro had been rebuilt after 1976 earthquake, which happened just when it was going to be totally left by its inhabitants; now people come back to live in the restored lovely houses.

I create this theme just because I found a picture very similar to one of mine and I think it is nice that the two picture will not loose each other!
Maybe some other will gather them!

The Watts Towers, in the Watts district of Los Angeles is a collection of 17 interconnected structures, t built by Italian immigrant construction worker Simon Rodia in his spare time from 1921 to 1954.
The sculptures' armatures are constructed from steel pipes and rods. The main supports are embedded with pieces of porcelain, tile, and glass. They are decorated with found objects: bed frames, bottles, ceramic tiles

Tang an is a beautiful village in South-east Guizhou, not far from Zhaoxing. People living there belong to Dong ethnic minority. I liked this place very much for its landscape over the terraced fields, for its square on a slope with a drum tower and some pools at the top, and a very interesting old stone stair.
When I was there I saw women eashing stuff in the ponds and men enjoying sun sitting in the square.

Chengyang Bridge was built in 1916, and it is the best one among the wind and rain bridges in Dong stockade villages. At present, it is the largest wind and rain bridge also it is the crystal of Dong people's wisdom; it is one of the artistic precious things of Chinese wood architecture.

This bridge is made of wood and stone, making it a large bridge stretching across the Linxi River, having 5 stone-made large columns. It is 64.4 meters long, 3.4 meters wide and 10.6 meters high.

The Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is the centerpiece of any trip to northeastern Guangxi Province. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river under the blue sky. Water buffalo patrol the fields, peasants reap rice paddies, school kids and fisherman float by on bamboo rafts. With its breathtaking scenery and taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis, the scenery along the Li River become one of China's top tourist destinations.
